Send the link to my phoneThis game never happened. The Harbor Point Hawks and the Millbrook Owls are made up, and so is every player. It was played in the high school format: four quarters of 8 minutes. Before tip-off, the statkeeper turned on all three tracking settings (lineups, minutes and the other team). That is why this box score has two grids, plus minutes and plus/minus for the home side.

How to read it
- MIN: minutes on the floor, from the clock times called at each sub. Ours only.
- FG, 3PT, FT: made-attempted. FG counts twos and threes together; 3PT is the threes on their own.
- OR, DR, REB: offensive rebounds, defensive rebounds and the total.
- AST, STL, BLK, TO: assists, steals, blocks and turnovers.
- PF, TF, CHG: personal fouls, technical fouls and charges taken.
- PTS: points, worked out from the makes: 2 for each two, 3 for each three, 1 for each free throw.
- +/-: the score difference while the player was on the floor. Ours only.
Totals are the sum of the player rows and nothing else. Every rebound and every turnover belongs to a player. A missed shot still shows up: it adds to the attempts.
Why the other team has no MIN or +/-
HoopReads follows your lineup only. You call your own subs, so it knows who you have on the floor and for how long. It doesn’t follow the other bench, so their grid stops at the stats you called for them. The opponent stats guide explains how calls get split between the two sides.
Checks you can do yourself
- The PTS column of each grid adds up to that team’s final score: 54 and 49.
- Our MIN column adds up to 160. That is five players for 32 minutes.
- Our +/- column adds up to five times the final margin: 5 × 5 = 25. Every score, including free throws, moves the number for all five players on the floor.
One stint was started with a sub called without a clock time, so that player’s minutes are marked as an estimate. The minutes guide covers how that works. For the stat itself, see plus/minus explained. The box score guide walks through every column, and the voice commands page lists the calls that build a box score like this one.
